For this review, Beyond Zero Emissions, ICLEI, and Ironbark invited Australian council and community stakeholders to take part in a wide-ranging survey to better understand local government climate change targets, actions, strategies and policies. A series of recommendations for councils, local government groups and associations, and state, territory and federal governments are outlined as well as steps communities can take to drive and accelerate climate action in their local area
