This report details factors that contribute to the gap between what climate science can currently provide and what end users of that information require in order to make robust adaption decisions about their climate related risks

The literature review identified five key contributing factors to the gap:• uncertainty in climate science;
• cognitive bias and challenges of interdisciplinary research;
• (mis)understanding and (mis)use of key terminology;
• communication (or lack of);
• non-climatic influences.
